Aerobella McMorbidly
#K2 in My Macabre McMorbidly Family Portrait Series
Aerobella McMorbidly. She was the adopted daughter of Prof. Quanticus and Luvina. While there was no love lost between little Aero and Luvina, the prof was fascinated by his daughter. He found her on his travels being raised in a cave by wild bats. He brought her home and nurtured her obsessive need for flight with his invention of a bat wing glider harness. He made them using pilfered bedsheets and shower rods. She was, as far as anyone could tell, perfectly normal compared to her adoptive family until she joined the carnival and flew head first into a tent pole. She wasn’t quite right after that. She took to dropping water balloons filled with nitro on non-paying attendees. She was last seen in flight during a storm when an unfortunate bolt of lightning struck her cache of volatile balloons. The result of which needs no description.
The McMorbidly Family Portraits were discovered in a battered and moldy sealed trunk, which had somehow wound up below the root system of a huge black tree on the grounds of McMorbidly Manor (Now in Ruins). With each photo was a mysterious description written in jittery script by persons unknown. The portraits and paper were dated back to the mid to late 1800's. Who was the artist/photographer? How had history forgotten such an infamous and lengthy family legacy? We may never know but pay close attention as each family member and their stories from all their past generations are revealed!
